Anthropic, Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, Goldman Sachs Form Enterprise AI Services Joint Venture

Anthropic CFO Krishna Rao said "Enterprise demand for Claude is significantly outpacing any single delivery model." The new joint venture targets mid-sized firms—community banks, manufacturers, regional health systems—that lack in-house AI expertise but are too small to be priority clients for the big consultancies. Notably, this signals model labs moving from pure API providers to equity-bonded delivery partners, a playbook other foundation labs will likely follow. Backers also include General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo, GIC, and Sequoia.
