Pick Spark when your product needs Chinese voice — voice agents, language tutoring, accessibility. The voice stack is genuinely a class above what wrapper services around Whisper or ElevenLabs deliver in Mandarin/Cantonese. For pure text, Qwen, DeepSeek, and Doubao are stronger or cheaper. International Taiwanese-traditional support is decent but not native; iFlytek's centre of gravity is mainland.
