Better than the typical hand-curated awesome-mcp lists because the ranking is reproducible — you immediately see which servers have real traction vs. weekend experiments. Trade-off: the quality score weights GitHub popularity, so newer or niche-but-solid servers get buried, and it doesn't tell you anything about runtime stability or security. Use it as a discovery starting point, then verify the candidate's recent commits and issue tracker yourself before wiring it into production.
