Superpowers is an opinionated skills framework for Claude Code that bundles a software engineering methodology — test-first development, YAGNI, DRY, small commits, explicit planning — into reusable skills the agent loads on demand. Pick this if you keep fighting Claude Code on the same things — skipping tests, over-engineering, ignoring existing patterns. The TDD-first skills genuinely change agent behavior. Trade-off: it's opinionated and slower than letting Claude freestyle, so don't bother for throwaway scripts or quick prototypes. If you prefer building your own skill set from scratch or use a different agent (Cursor, Aider), look elsewhere — this is Claude Code-native.
